Green tea has long been acknowledged for its health and wellness benefits, including weight loss. The evidence is irrefutable. But are we overlooking something better?

It is true that green tea contains powerful antioxidants. These components contribute to minimizing health risks such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. In this article we show you how green tea, although beneficial, is gradually losing value in the light of its delicious rival – rooibos.

Rooibos, also known as red tea, is equally high in antioxidants, however sourced from different substances to that of green tea. The antioxidants contained in rooibos – aspalathin and nothofagin – are comparatively rare, and help to regulate blood sugar, reduce excessive fat production, stress, and inhibit metabolic disorders.

After the results of recent studies experts consider red tea an essential. In addition to preventing heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and more, it is an accessible and effective answer to weight gain.

This year our friend Liz Swann Miller began the production of her Red Tea Detox. A primary goal was to harness the incredible benefits of rooibos whilst combining the ingredient with a number of other, equally valuable elements. Rooibos means red bush. The plant is readily available, with leaves that turn red upon

Red Tea Benefits for Weight Loss

Help to regulate blood sugar

Reduce excessive fat production

Prevent heart diseases

Does not contain caffeine

No bitter taste

Unlike green tea, red tea does not contain caffeine, and therefore drinking the blend at night won’t leave you restless. Another factor of its ultimate superiority is simply – taste. The bitterness of green tea is often attributed to its high tannin content, which is less prevalent in red tea.

Many health products do not aim to bridge the gap between adults and young children, but the pursuit of health is of equal importance for both demographics. Which is why Liz designed a recipe that caters to all ages and tastes, with the inclusion of a sweetened version of the recipe. This particular Red Tea Detox program is fresh and matchless, already actively transforming lives since its launch.

How Red Tea helps to physically shrink fat cells

Red Tea has many benefits, for the body, stress and energy levels, and even in the prevention of serious diseases. White, black and green tea have been tested, talked about, and consumed for years on this basis, each with unique but valuable contributions to the body.

More recently, red tea has been recognised as their equal, if not superior. And here’s why – red tea shrinks fat cells.

The Rooibos leaves are used once fermented in the tea’s production, and they offer a range of benefits. Liz’s recipe, as featured in the Red Tea Detox, combines rooibos with a specific blend, working to melt fat. Research has shown that components found in the rooibos plant, such as polyphenols and flavonoids, inhibit the formation of new fat cells by 22 percent.

The tea significantly lowers dangerous fat found in the blood, such as triglyceride concentrations. Other blends such as green tea, although rich in antioxidants, do not have the same impact on fat cells or weight loss. Red tea is an exciting necessity, and one that has the potential to seamlessly entwine itself with your lifestyle.

Sipping the brew burns stubborn problem areas around the body, without an extreme diet or exercise plan. This is a chance to enhance your health as well as your weight loss efforts. And; it’s delicious? Finally, we have access to a health product promising fat reduction that bases itself on facts, rather than myths and false hope.

Why using a blender?

Making your own smoothies at home has health benefits and is environmentally friendly, compared to buying industrially produced smoothies packaged in plastic bottles.

A blender instead of a Juicer or Food Processor is your first choice when looking for a kitchen device to help you make your delicious Green or Red Smoothies.

The blades of the blender will liquefy everything that you place into the cup. For smoothies and drinks, there’s nothing better than a blender as you need to turn something from a solid into a liquid?

The reason we recommend using a blender is because it doesn’t extract the juice from the fruit – it simply turns the fruit into juice. That means that all of the healthy fiber from the fruit is still inside the blender; the ideal situation for weight loss smoothies.

In contrast a juicer extracts the juice from the fruit, all you get is the simple sugar, which won’t be as good for your health or your diet. With the fiber added, you’ll get complex sugars that will make the fruit juice healthy! That’s the reason why you should avoid processed orange or apple juice while trying to lose weight whereas eating whole apples or oranges isn’t a problem.

You can easily drink the amount of orange juice made from 5 oranges. However, you will have a hard time trying to actually eat 5 oranges in one go. The fibre makes all the difference!

So, when it comes to smoothies for weight loss, the machine you want sitting on your kitchen counter is definitely a blender.

Just pour your non-dairy milk, yoghurt, ice, filtered water, soy milk, or almond milk into the cup, add the fruits, veggies, nuts and berries and turn it on. Within seconds, you’ve got the perfect smoothie.

But what blender should I go for?

The main characteristics for a good blender are:

Easy to clean

Durable

Enough Power

That’s why you should find a blender with a cup and blades that can easily be replaced. To be on the safe side stick with commonly used brands like Hamilton, Oster or Cuisinart, as you’ll be easily able to find a replacement parts online or in stores near by; especially when the cup breaks – which it eventually will, as long as it is made of glass.

The Cup

The blender cup is the most important feature of the appliance. You’re going to need a cup that’s tough and durable, as you’ll be chopping up ice, frozen foods, and hard veggies and fruits on a daily basis. It should also be dishwasher safe.

A heavy duty glass cup is your best choice when it comes to smoothies, as it will handle the heavy use. If you’re prone to breaking things, a metal blender cup will be just as durable – but won’t shatter if you drop it. However, in a metal cup you can’t see what your drink looks like.

A good alternative these days is a cup made from BPA-free plastic.

The Motor

You need a motor that is powerful, as it’s going to have to power the blade to slice through ice, frozen fruits, or vegetables such as carrots or celery.

Your motor should have at least 600 Watts. The most important thing to remember is that your motor shouldn’t just be powerful, but it needs to be built to last as well! Even if it’s powerful, a poorly constructed motor will burn out with heavy use – and making smoothies every day definitely counts as heavy use!

The Base

There’s nothing wrong with a plastic base, but the solid metal bases will almost always be a better choice. Feel the weight of the base when testing different models. If the base feels heavy, it means that the motor is usually pretty powerful – and has plenty of torque to power the slicing blades.

The Controls

You basically just need three settings:

“Pulse” setting to chop up the ingredients initially

A medium speed setting to turn the chopped up ingredients into liquid, and a

high-speed setting to turn that liquid into a creamy delicious Smoothie.

Aquaponics can save you of your daily trips to the supermarket and offer you tasty, healthy vegetables for your entire family. But for this you need to take great care of the fish, which will basically make your plants grow healthy and beautiful. It is an eco-friendly way to both grow greens and proteins.

What is Aquaponics?

More and more people use Aquaponic farming systems .When done right, it can offer you tasty and cheap vegetables and legumes as well as healthy fish all year long. However, in order to obtain the best results you will first need to have some basic information about what aquaponics means and how can you make the most of it.
Aquaponics is a new type of farming which relays on the symbiosis between plants and fish. The fish provide the necessary food for the plants; while the plants, by absorbing the fish’s excrements clean their water. Thus the plants make the fish’s environment a “comfortable” place.
On the other hand the fish provide the plants with all the nutrients they need. There is no need for you to use any pesticides or fertilizers to make your plants grow bigger and stronger. Actually it would damage the fish as they are highly sensitive on chemicals.

As you can see the fish you put inside the tank play a great role in the success of your aquaponic farming. This is why, you will need to take good care of them and at the same time pay attention to that type of fish you choose.

But what fish is the most suitable for an aquaponics system?

While basically all types of fish are suitable for an aquaponic system, there are states in which different species of fish are not allowed to be grown inside a residential home. Thus, before populating your tank with fish make sure that you are allowed to grow that type of fish in your home.
The species of fish which are recommended for the aquaponic system are:

Bluegill

Crappie

Chinese Catfish

Sunfish

Pacu

This list is not an exhaustive one and according to the country or state in which you live you can always try some different types of fish. As well as you take good care of them and your fish are happy, there are great chances that your aquaponic farm system will give you great results in no less than a year.
