History

Commencing the year 2003, two enterprising young men, Blas Bennett Saavedra and Diogenes Bennett Saavedra, started a study for recycling in Santiago, Chile. It begun with the research of systems implemented in other countries and their results, laws, agents, machinery, logistic, etc. This was exposed to CONAMA (National Environment Commission) and some Municipalities, offering the administration of waste classification centers by making them profitable business, however due to low interest it was postponed. Finally in the year 2006, supported by the father of two of them, Polysmart was created, as a business unit from Inversiones San Jorge S.A. dedicated to plastic recycling.

Acquire waste of low importance and harmful useful, harmless and high quality material; contributing to the social welfare of our city, diminishing the negative impact generated, maximizing the efficiencies of resource consumption; giving a value added to the product.
